ALL STUDENTS
KIDS 18 YEARS AND YOUNGER
ENROLLED STUDENTS with DISABILITIES up to 21 YEARS OLD

The USDA is covering the costs of meals THROUGH JUNE 30, 2021


FREE breakfast and lunch for all children age 18 and younger (enrolled students up to 21 years old with disabilities)

  • Healthy meals based on USDA nutrition guidelines
  • Includes children present in-school, hybrid learners, full distance learners and children not enrolled in Newington Public Schools
  • Free meals Monday-Friday when school is in session

  • It’s not just for low income families but for ALL families
  • You’re helping your COMMUNITY and the Newington Food Service Program stay financially afloat 
How it works?
  • Children present in school whether 4 or 5 days per week eat a FREE lunch in school and may take home breakfast and lunches for when remote learning at home.  Teachers will pre-order meals for ES students and HS/MS students will complete a google form in homeroom for take home meals.

  • Parents/guardians of full distance learners, pre-k students, children 18 years and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old not already signed up for weekly meal pick-up on Wednesdays from 12 - 1PM should contact food services to be added to the list.
