NPS Summer  Enrichment 2023

Summer is a great time for students to have fun, relax, enjoy the outdoors, and keep learning!  The district will continue to provide resources for students and families to ensure a successful transition in the fall. There will be no required assignments with the exception of students enrolled in some of the AP classes at Newington High School.

Our first priority for students is to be well - physically, emotionally, and socially. To support you in these efforts, there are tips and ideas provided for each level (elementary, middle, and high) to get students away from screens, moving, and enjoying the outdoors.

Our second priority is for students to read. Reading is one of the best ways to keep our minds active. Consider relaxing with a story or learning more about your favorite interest. Bring your book outside, form a book club with your friends, or have family "reading time" set aside a few days a week.

Lastly, we know that some students will choose to continue math skills. At each level, we have provided resources to keep your math skills sharp.
