Free & Reduced Meal Info

Free and reduced-price meal applications for the 2026-2027 school year are currently unavailable.  Please check back at the end of July 2026 for updates.  Once Newington receives the updated information from the State of CT, the new applications will be available.

If your family is directly certified for the 2026-2027 school year through the State of Connecticut based on benefits you receive you should receive an approval notification via email before August 17, 2026.

If you have received an approval letter from this office for the 2026-2027 school year, no additional action is necessary.  If you have not received an approval letter that your child was directly certified, you will need to fill out an application.
