Good Evening Parents and Guardians,
As you are aware COVID-19 vaccines are now authorized for all children ages 5-11. It is important to note that the vaccine is not mandatory and is completely a parental choice. While we have been made aware that our local pediatricians are already reaching out to their patients, we wanted to offer our assistance in two ways.
We are partnering with our neighbors in Berlin to offer a vaccine clinic this Saturday, November 13. The vaccine clinic will take place at Beacon Prescriptions, located at 233 Main St in downtown New Britain. Beacon will also be posting a follow up sign up link for the second dose three weeks after the first dose. The second vaccine link will be available on November 15th for the December 4th clinic. Additionally, our partners at Starling Physicians in Rocky Hill have offered to hold a clinic exclusively for NPS students at their location if there is enough interest. If you are potentially interested in such a clinic, please complete a brief survey linked here: vaccine interest survey.
