Schedule Change and Update - March 6, 2021

Schedule Change and Important Update - March 6, 2021
Posted on 03/08/2021

Good Morning Staff, Parents, and Guardians,

I am pleased to report that 200 NPS staff members received their first Moderna vaccine at a March 1 Clinic held at NHS. Over 125 additional staff will be vaccinated at our upcoming NHS Clinic on March 10, 2021. Many others have received the vaccine through private providers as well as a Johnson and Johnson Vaccine Clinic held this weekend for educators by Hartford HeathCare.

In order to facilitate the second vaccine clinics for our staff, I am making the following schedule adjustments:

Thursday April 1 will be a remote learning day for grades K-12, Wednesday March 31 will be a regular in person day. PreK students will attend in person schooling on Wednesday March 31 and Thursday April 1 will be a non school day for PreK.

Friday April 9 will be a remote learning day for K-12. Wednesday April 7 will be a regular in person day. PreK students will attend in person schooling on Wednesday April 7. Friday April 9 will be on non school day for PreK.

I appreciate your flexibility as we work to provide our staff with many vaccine opportunities in anticipation of our upcoming fuller reopening on March 15, 2021.
