Parent/Guardian COVID Safety Reminders

Parent/ Guardian COVID Safety Reminders
Posted on 12/07/2020

Good Evening Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare to safely welcome your children back to school tomorrow, we ask that you do not send your child to school if they are currently sick.

If your child has been in contact with someone who is COVID positive, or has tested positive, please call the school nurse to let her know to get a date of clearance to return to school.

If your child has been tested and you are awaiting COVID or FLU test results please do not send them to school until after you have the results of the test.

If your child is currently having any symptoms of COVID, please have your child get a PCR test and keep your child home until you receive the results of the test.

Be advised that if your child comes to school with any COVID-like symptoms they will be sent home immediately.

Any questions or concerns should be directed to the school nurse for guidance.

Thank you for your collaboration in ensuring we maintain a safe learning environment for our staff and students.

For more detailed information, please refer to the Student COVID Guidelines

We are all looking forward to seeing our students tomorrow.

Have a wonderful evening.

Be Well,

Maureen Brummett, Ed.D

Superintendent of Schools
