Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians,
As COVID rates are on the rise in our community, there continue to be some instances in which Screen and Stay is not appropriate for students exposed to COVID at school. A common reason for Screen and Stay not to be used is when there is more than one COVID case in a given classroom. It is extremely important to note that Screen and Stay is the preferred choice of our nurse and administrators as we want all children in school. Please know that all decisions regarding the use of Screen and Stay or quarantining exposed students are based on the safety and well being of staff and students.
Finally, if your child tests positive outside of school hours (including holidays), please notify the school nurse and principal immediately. Do not wait until the next school day.
